The Book Bag
The Book Bag Program-Allows any non-profit including Charter and Public Schools to purchase (100) new books (when available) for $190.00* or (50) new books for $80.00* including shipping. Most of the books through this program are titles that can be found in the larger retail chain bookstores. The books come in a pre-packaged box with a variety of popular titles geared to ages 2 to 12 years of age. The boxes also contain children’s activity books that come with crayons or watercolor paints. The way we notify our organizations about the availability of these pre-package offerings is usually by e-mail. We have responded to the request of several organizations to have a way to purchase books through this program by credit card. You may now pay for your purchases for books by credit card through PayPal.
Guidelines The books purchased may be used in any way you wish; the only requirement is that the organization purchasing the books must have Federal tax-exempt status or be a License State Day Care facility. Each box has 100 or 50 new books. We will not customize these boxes of books, you must take them as we presented. Some books may have remainder marks or publishers stickers on the books. In order to acquire the books, you may email us with an expressed interest in securing the books. How will I know what I am getting in the box of books? When the email alert goes out, we will let you know what titles are in the box and how many boxes of books we have available. We will also indicate the age appropriateness of each title that will be included in the box. How are the books shipped? The books are shipped via the United Postal Service Media Mail, FedEx ground or What is the frequency the availability of the Book Bag offers? Most of our books are received through the generosity of major publishers of Children’s books, so we distribute them when they become available. Also, we purchase books from remainder dealers and donate some and others we sell. Can more than one box of books be purchased at one time, by the same organization? Yes, if more than one box of books are available. And as stated above, all books are made available on a first come first serve basis. What types of books are in the boxes? Usually a mixture of hardcover, board, activity, and paperback books for children ages 2 to 12. In most cases there are multiple copies of a title.
